Aimward Guide

Quick start

Start with a goal, then turn it into measurable metrics, today's tasks, focus sessions, and reviewable progress.

01

Goals

Create from a template or custom goal

Use a template to generate aligned metrics and tasks, or create a goal manually when the structure is already clear.

Open the goal detail

The goal detail view shows the plan, recent progress, and the metrics that define completion.

Review the metric list

Metrics are the bridge between a goal and observable progress. Add or adjust them before daily execution.

Choose a metric method

Use final value, average, cumulative value, or stage progress depending on what the metric should represent.

Set weights

Weights define which metrics matter most to the overall goal completion.

Record progress

Add metric records as work happens, then use the trend to judge whether the goal is actually moving.

02

Tasks

Understand task buckets

Tasks are organized as unassigned, today, and overdue so action stays tied to what can be done now.

Move a task into today

Template tasks can stay unassigned until you decide they deserve attention today or tomorrow.

Create a task

A task can start with only a name. Goal binding, date, countdown, preparation, subtasks, and notes are optional.

Bind goals and metrics

When a task is linked to a goal and metric, completing it can also record progress.

Start focus

Move the task into today, then either complete it as a simple task or enter focus mode.

Share a focus result

After focus ends, Aimward can generate a share image that summarizes the finished effort.

03

Daily review

Read the daily facts

Daily Review starts from the day's focus, tasks, goal progress, and output facts.

Save only what matters

You can record only a rating, or add mood, energy, reflections, and diary text when the day deserves it.

Use review colors

Calendar dots distinguish unrated days, rating-only reviews, written reflections, and diary entries.

04

Milestones

Create a life aspiration

Milestones hold longer, sometimes more philosophical directions that cannot be reduced to one deadline.

Attach goals and life events

Link goals and record key difficulties or insight shifts to build a long-term timeline.
