Privacy Policy

Aimward Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 7, 2026.

1. Scope and controller

This policy explains how we process information in connection with Aimward. Unless otherwise stated, Clearflux is responsible for information processing related to the Aimward product and support service. Apple, the App Store, iCloud, CloudKit, StoreKit, Apple Calendar, notifications, widgets, Live Activities, system share sheets, and other Apple system capabilities are provided by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policies.

2. Data you create

Content you create or store in Aimward may include goals, metrics, metric records, photo attachments for metric records, tasks, subtasks, focus records, reviews, milestones, life aspirations, notes, settings, data-space settings, widget snapshots, purchase entitlement status, and related local indexes, caches, deletion records, and diagnostic state. This content is stored on your device by default and is used to provide core Aimward functions such as display, calculation, reminders, sync, reviews, trend analysis, and widget display.

3. Local storage and iCloud sync

By default, Aimward stores core data on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, supported data is stored through Apple CloudKit in your private iCloud database and synced across devices signed in to the same Apple ID. Clearflux does not operate a self-hosted cloud server for this core data and does not directly browse your private CloudKit database. Unless you export data or provide content to support, Clearflux does not access this data.

4. Notifications and calendar access

Aimward requests notification permission only when you enable reminders. Notifications are used locally to remind you about tasks, reviews, focus sessions, or goal-related matters. Aimward requests calendar access only when you enable calendar sync, select a calendar, or sync confirmed focus records. Calendar access is used only to read writable calendar lists, create a required calendar, write or update confirmed focus records, and store the related system event identifier for later updates.

5. Widgets, Lock Screen, and Live Activities

If you add Home Screen widgets, Lock Screen widgets, or use Live Activities, Aimward displays content related to your current data within the limits allowed by the system. To support these system surfaces, Aimward may store necessary snapshots, configuration, and state in a local container shared by the app and widget extension. Data-space privacy settings and system Lock Screen privacy settings affect whether complete information is displayed.

6. Photo attachments, import, export, and sharing

When you add a photo to a metric record through the system photo picker, Aimward reads only the photo you select. The photo is processed or compressed locally as needed and stored as part of that metric record. If iCloud sync is enabled, the attachment may sync with the corresponding record to your private CloudKit database. Images, screenshots, text, diagnostic reports, or data files that you export, share, or send are handled by the destination app, system service, or recipient you choose. We review such content only if you voluntarily send it to Clearflux support.

7. Purchases, subscriptions, and entitlements

Purchases, subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for Aimward are processed by the App Store and Apple StoreKit. Clearflux does not receive your card number, full billing details, or App Store account password. Aimward may read product information, transaction status, and entitlement status returned by StoreKit on your device to display prices, complete purchases, restore purchases, and unlock features.

8. Data-space privacy

When data spaces are enabled, Aimward separates app data, space locks, privacy display settings, widget display, and foreground reminders by data space. You are responsible for choosing appropriate privacy settings and should understand that system notifications, widgets, Lock Screen, Live Activities, system sharing, and calendar events may also be affected by system-level display rules.

9. Support communications and diagnostics

When you contact Clearflux support by email or another method, we process the email address, issue description, screenshots, diagnostic reports, device model, system version, Aimward version, iCloud sync status, data-space status, and other information you voluntarily provide in connection with the request. We use this information only to respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and meet necessary compliance obligations.

10. No advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking

Aimward currently does not include third-party advertising SDKs, does not use third-party analytics SDKs, and does not use the content or usage data you create in Aimward for tracking across apps or websites. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising purposes.

11. Deletion and retention

You can delete data you create in Aimward. After deletion, the main content is removed from currently visible data. To support local recovery, undo, data consistency, and local experience improvements, Aimward may keep deletion records, snapshots, caches, or sync state on your device; these records are not sent to Clearflux. If iCloud sync is enabled, the deletion propagates across devices signed in to the same Apple ID through Apple CloudKit sync. Apple device backups, iCloud backups, or other system mechanisms may keep copies according to your system settings.

12. Minors

Aimward is intended for general productivity and growth management and is not directed specifically to children. Minors should use Aimward with the consent and guidance of a guardian. Guardians may contact us through the method listed in this policy if they believe we may have improperly processed information relating to a minor.

13. Policy updates

We may update this policy because of product features, system capabilities, legal requirements, platform rules, or operational arrangements. Material changes will be explained through the website, in-app notices, release notes, or other reasonable methods. The updated policy takes effect from the publication date or the date stated in the notice.
