Aimward
Aimward Privacy Policy
Revised: 27 October 2026.
This Privacy Policy applies to Aimward and the app, widgets, Live Activities, notifications, calendar sync, iCloud sync, and related features provided on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Aimward is provided by Hangzhou Clearflux Information Technology Co., Ltd. ("Clearflux", "we", "us", or "our"). Aimward is designed to be local-first. Except for system capabilities you enable or content you voluntarily provide to us, we currently do not collect, upload, or access the data you create in Aimward, and we do not use advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.
1. Scope and controller
This policy explains how we process information in connection with Aimward. Unless otherwise stated, Clearflux is responsible for information processing related to the Aimward product and support service. Apple, the App Store, iCloud, CloudKit, StoreKit, Apple Calendar, notifications, widgets, Live Activities, system share sheets, and other Apple system capabilities are provided by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
Relevant providers process information for their actual service roles; we do not sell personal information or provide private app content to advertisers. Where our disclosures to third parties or cross-border processing require notices, consent or other safeguards by law, we will meet the applicable requirements before the relevant transfer. Contact support@clearflux.net for the applicable recipient, processing region and rights procedure.
2. Data you create
Content you create or store in Aimward may include goals, metrics, metric records, photo attachments for metric records, tasks, subtasks, focus records, reviews, milestones, life aspirations, notes, settings, data-space settings, widget snapshots, purchase entitlement status, and related local indexes, caches, deletion records, and diagnostic state. This content is stored on your device by default and is used to provide core Aimward functions such as display, calculation, reminders, sync, reviews, trend analysis, and widget display.
3. Local storage and iCloud sync
Core Aimward data is stored on your device by default. If you enable iCloud sync, supported data is stored in your private Apple CloudKit database and synced between your eligible devices. Clearflux does not run a separate cloud library or directly browse that private database. Exporting a file locally does not send it to Clearflux. We receive content only when you choose to send it to support or otherwise explicitly provide it to us.
4. Notifications and calendar access
Aimward requests notification permission only when you enable reminders. Notifications are used locally to remind you about tasks, reviews, focus sessions, or goal-related matters. Aimward requests calendar access only when you enable calendar sync, select a calendar, or sync confirmed focus records. Calendar access is used only to read writable calendar lists, create a required calendar, write or update confirmed focus records, and store the related system event identifier for later updates.
5. Widgets, Lock Screen, and Live Activities
If you add Home Screen widgets, Lock Screen widgets, or use Live Activities, Aimward displays content related to your current data within the limits allowed by the system. To support these system surfaces, Aimward may store necessary snapshots, configuration, and state in a local container shared by the app and widget extension. Data-space privacy settings and system Lock Screen privacy settings affect whether complete information is displayed.
6. Photo attachments, import, export, and sharing
When you add a photo to a metric record through the system photo picker, Aimward reads only the photo you select. The photo is processed or compressed locally as needed and stored as part of that metric record. If iCloud sync is enabled, the attachment may sync with the corresponding record to your private CloudKit database. Images, screenshots, text, diagnostic reports, or data files that you export, share, or send are handled by the destination app, system service, or recipient you choose. We review such content only if you voluntarily send it to Clearflux support.
7. Purchases, subscriptions, and entitlements
Purchases, subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for Aimward are processed by the App Store and Apple StoreKit. Clearflux does not receive your card number, full billing details, or App Store account password. Aimward may read product information, transaction status, and entitlement status returned by StoreKit on your device to display prices, complete purchases, restore purchases, and unlock features.
8. Data-space privacy
When data spaces are enabled, Aimward separates app data, space locks, privacy display settings, widget display, and foreground reminders by data space. You are responsible for choosing appropriate privacy settings and should understand that system notifications, widgets, Lock Screen, Live Activities, system sharing, and calendar events may also be affected by system-level display rules.
9. Support communications and diagnostics
When you contact Clearflux support by email or another method, we process the email address, issue description, screenshots, diagnostic reports, device model, system version, Aimward version, iCloud sync status, data-space status, and other information you voluntarily provide in connection with the request. We use this information only to respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and meet necessary compliance obligations.
Support mail drafts can include the app name, version/build, human-readable device model, operating-system version and system region. You can edit or remove these before sending. We receive only the message, sender address and attachments you choose to send. Do not send account passwords, payment details or unrelated sensitive information.
10. No advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking
Aimward currently does not include third-party advertising SDKs, does not use third-party analytics SDKs, and does not use the content or usage data you create in Aimward for tracking across apps or websites. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising purposes.
11. Deletion and retention
Deleting an item removes it from ordinary app use. Local undo or recovery data is retained only while the corresponding recovery function needs it; deletion markers and sync state may remain while needed to propagate deletions and prevent records reappearing. Deletion markers and sync state are distinct from recovery copies of the deleted content. CloudKit deletion and Apple backup copies depend on sync and system settings. Use the relevant permanent-deletion, recovery, storage or system controls where available; contact support first if the scope is unclear.
Support emails and attachments are retained only as long as needed to handle support requests, related disputes or legal retention requirements. Deleting data in the app does not delete emails already sent to support.
12. Minors
Aimward is intended for general productivity and growth management and is not directed specifically to children. Minors should use Aimward with the consent and guidance of a guardian. Guardians may contact us through the method listed in this policy if they believe we may have improperly processed information relating to a minor.
13. Policy updates
We may update this policy because of product features, system capabilities, legal requirements, platform rules, or operational arrangements. Material changes will be explained through the website, in-app notices, release notes, or other reasonable methods. The updated policy takes effect from the publication date or the date stated in the notice.
14. Legal grounds and regional rights
In mainland China, necessary service delivery, purchase verification and requested support rely on the grounds available under Article 13 of the Personal Information Protection Law, including contract necessity or legal duties where applicable. Where EU/EEA rules apply, contract performance, legal duties and proportionate security interests may apply to their respective activities. Optional processing that needs consent is presented when enabled, with separate consent where required. Contact support@clearflux.net using the rights procedure in this policy; applicable access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction, objection and complaint rights remain available.
For personal information held by Clearflux, email support@clearflux.net to request access, a copy, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent or an explanation. We verify only the identity and scope necessary for the request, respond within the applicable legal period and explain any lawful refusal or retention. Applicable portability, restriction, objection and complaint rights are also available. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.
